This is the Second Announcement for the conference "Astronomical Instruments for Robotic Telescopes" to be held in Ensenada, B.C., México on 3 - 7 Sept. 2012. The aim of the conference is to assess the state of the art and reliability of instrumentation for robotic and remotely operated telescopes used for surveying, monitoring, and regular astronomical observations. Fields included in the conference are: data handling, optics, telescope and instrument control, detectors, spectroscopy, and photometry, among other fields.

Accepted contributions will be published in the Revista Mexicana de Astronomía y Astrofísica Conference Series - Registration is now open. Please go to conference web site http://ciaens.astrosen.unam.mx/index.html for registration and abstract submission.  To propose a presentation, extended abstract of Max. 1200 words must be submitted in English.  

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JULY 31, 2012

Early registration fee is $275 US Dollars.  Registration includes dinner and a visit to Route of Wine, Valle de Guadalupe, B.C. or the San Pedro Martir Observatory.
